House refurbishment in Aveiro. The project was finished in May 2003. The plot has a total area of approximately 95 sqm and is inserted in an listed heritage area. The proposal presents a gross area of 105 sqm divided between two floors.

We propose the refurbishment of the existing building, in an advanced state of degradation, re-doing the entire interior and proposing a top floor extension, setback approximately four metres from the street alignment.

In functional terms, the public areas will be on the ground floor, and private areas on the upper floor. Both the lower and upper floors - the living room and master bedroom - will be north-west oriented, overlooking the existing garden.
