RG01
CHEST OF DRAWERS
RG01 is a piece of furniture designed by Porto based architect Rui Grazina for the Portuguese company Paularte. This chest of drawers has the particular feature of using not only the front face but also both sides. The RG01 is engraved with design authorship, production and edition number making each piece unique. It's dimensions are 80x80x42cm.
“I believe the practice of architecture is related to the design of furniture pieces; working on small and large scales at the same time is very important, in the sense that these represent complementary sides of the design process” the architect explains.
Paularte is a Braga based industrial furniture company, founded in 1968 by João Paulo Martins in the city of Braga. Paularte collaborates with designers including Valencia based Carlos Tíscar.
